Garlic & Herb Dip
Ingredients
60g Mayonaise
60g Sour Cream
1/2 Teaspoon White Wine Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Small Pinch of Sugar
Small Pinch of Salt
If you love the Garlic & Herb dip from a well known takeaway pizza chain, then this is the recipe for you. You would never have guessed how easy it is to make yourself at home, and it tastes just like the real thing! Perfect for dunking your perfectly risen crusts.
This recipe makes plenty for two - depending on how much you like it of course!
Instructions
1. Weigh / measure out the ingredients listed above into a bowl. I would recommend starting with 1/4 Teaspoon of White Wine Vinegar, as this is the dominate flavour. Give it a taste after mixing, as you can always add more, but you can't take it back out again!
2. Once everything's together, give it a good mix to make sure everything's well combined.
I find preparing this a little bit ahead of time, and leaving it in the fridge for a few hours for the flavours to develop helps to make it even better.
3. You can portion out the sauce by dolloping it straight onto your pizza. We serve it in ramekins, perfect for dunking your crusts.
